From 1914 - 1941, Reverend E.B. Tyson served as pastor of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. During his tenure, the membership increased from 110 to 800. This increase helped to solve Bethel's financial troubles and gave Rev. Tyson the title of liquidator. 

 

Reverend Tyson was suddenly called home to be with the Lord in 1941. The Lord worked through Reverend Tyson to renew the member's faith. Reverend Tyson was a great motivator and instilled in his members a new perspective about how God can work miracles for those who have just a little faith in Him.
