Soft Opening Procedures
COVID-19 Pandemic
We are proud of the early actions taken to protect the health and safety of our church family and friends at Bethel. Your health and safety remain our top priority as we adjust and navigate through this crisis. Please adhere to the following guidelines to protect ourselves and each other. We also ask that you comply with directives from our ushers.
- Hard copies of the program will not be distributed.
- Enter and Exit through vestibule (main doors) only.
-Masks are required (available upon request).
- Face shields are optional.
- Gloves are not recommended.
- Temperature check required before entry
- Stay home and self-isolate even if you experience minor symptoms.
- Sanitize hands upon entry (personal or made available to you).
- Avoid handshakes and hugs.
- Do not congregate before or after worship service.
- Limit restroom use to vestibule area only.
- Please practice good handwashing.

You will be seated by an usher - Please be understanding as social distancing is imperative:
- Families may sit together.
- Couples may sit together.
- Individuals will be seated.
- Upstairs balcony will be corded-off unless seating is needed to social distance.
- Follow dismissal procedures from ushers.
- Bring your Bible.
- Ushers will guide us in our giving
- Choir temporarily suspended. Music rendered by Praise Team (4-8 individuals/may vary)).
- Sunday School classes will resume at a later date/TBA.
- “Entry/Exit” signs will be placed on doors to be used for entering and exiting.

Other Safeguards:
​
- Mics and podium will be sanitized following each use.
- Bibles and hymnals are temporarily removed from sanctuary.
- Fellowship Hall and kitchen will remain closed and off limits until further notice.
- Drinking fountains are off limits to reduce the spread.
- Cord-off upstairs (Education Wing).
- Choir Room I will remain open for Music Staff.
- Choir Room II off limits.
- Cord-off door to Media Room.
- Media Room off limits.
- Signs will be placed in restrooms to stress the importance of good handwashing.
- “No Entry” signs will be placed on all doors that shall remain closed.
-“Entry/Exit” signs will be placed on doors to be used for entering and exiting.
